Internet stunned as Sydney Sweeney sports Angelina Jolie's 2004 dress at Vanity Fair Oscar Party
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sydney Sweeney left the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party attendees in awe as her 'Euphoria' actress paid homage to legendary Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. The 26-year-old sported the same dress that the Academy Award winner wore 20 years back.
The silk cream-colored dress designed by Marc Bouwer was first worn by Jolie in 2004. The gown displays a plunging neckline, an open back, and a long train.
Sweeney chose to accessorize the dress similarly to Jolie's look as she accompanied the gown with the matching shawl, and a long, custom-made tiered necklace by Messika.
One of the major differences between the actress's looks was how their hair was worn. Jolie went with a half-up, half-down style, while Sweeney completed her Vanity Fair afterparty look with the debut of a new sultry bob styled into loose waves.

Marc Bouwer called Sydney Sweeney 'beautiful' on social media
On Instagram, Bouwer described Sweeney in his archival gown as "beautiful" as he gave her stylist a shoutout for coordinating the look.
"From the archives. Worn to the Oscars in 2004 by Angelina Jolie, and now on the beautiful @sydney_sweeney," he wrote in the post's caption as he shared photos of Sweeney from Sunday night, March 10, per People Magazine.
