Suki Waterhouse says it was a 'dark and difficult' split with ex-boyfriend Bradley Cooper in 2015
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Burn’ star Suki Waterhouse has finally opened up on her difficult breakup with Bradley Cooper.
The singer-actress dated ‘American Sniper’ from 2013 to 2015 and called their split ‘disorienting.’
“When something very public happens to you and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re actually not doing well, and you can’t explain yourself to the world, that’s very isolating,” Waterhouse told British Vogue.
However, she emphasized that after working on herself for over ‘a decade,’ she is now “pretty strong at this point.”

After parting ways with Cooper, Waterhouse was linked romantically with actor Diego Luna in 2017. A year later, she went public with her now husband Robert Pattinson. The two share a daughter whom they welcomed in March.
Meanwhile, the 'Hangover' star went on to welcome daughter Lea De Seine, seven, with Irina Shayk, and is presently dating Gigi Hadid, according to PageSix.
Reflecting on her relationship in her 20s, Waterhouse explained, “I think when you only get loved in that way, you only get punished. When you get into your 30s you’re almost instantly afforded a little bit more respect. It’s kind of delightful and shocking at the same time.”
Commenting on her strong bond with Pattinson, she said that they both connect over the “same slight uncomfortable-ness.”
