TOKYO, JAPAN: Taylor Swift once again caused concern among her dedicated fan base, fondly referred to as the Swifties, when she nearly stumbled while traversing the 'Folklore' cabin during her performance on the Eras Tour in Tokyo. Reflecting on the incident, she confessed to feeling as though her "life flashed" before her eyes.

As Swift continues to mesmerize audiences in Tokyo, preparations for her forthcoming performances in Australia are in full swing. Recently, a list outlining regulations and banned items for the Australian chapter of the Eras Tour elicited pushback from enthusiastic concert attendees.

The inclusion of items like iPads and friendship bracelets on the banned list sparked particular frustration. However, Swifties swiftly came to the pop icon's defense, asserting that such regulations are 'normal'.

Taylor Swift nearly trips from 'Folklore' cabin stairs

According to a report by People Magazine, the singer of 'Lover' nearly stumbled during an Eras Tour performance in Tokyo on Friday, after which she addressed the incident in a speech.

A video from the concert, shared on X, shows Swift experiencing a slight stumble while descending the stairs of a cabin set piece used in the 'Folklore' segment of her show.

As detailed by People Magazine, the artist addressed the near-fall later in the performance before singing her song 'Betty'.

She reassured the audience, saying, “I almost fell off the Folklore cabin, but I didn’t and that’s the lesson. My life flashed before my eyes, yeah, no, I’m good. It’s all good. Everything’s fine. Everything’s great! I’m just so happy that I didn’t fall off the folklore cabin, you know what I mean? What a great night in Tokyo!”



 

Swift further explained that the incident occurred "right as I was taking my harness off," as reported by People Magazine.

This mishap isn't the first during her Tokyo leg of the Eras Tour. Previously, she caused concern among fans when she nearly fell off a chair while performing the song 'Vigilante S**t' on stage due to misjudging its position.

Internet users assert Taylor Swift hasn't slept since October 2022

A user asserted that Swift might be feeling fatigued because she has been busy since October 2022, when her 'Midnights' album came out, and wrote, "To be fair she hasn’t slept since October 2022."
