As per the US Sun, cameras captured an awkward moment for Hiddleston as his ex-girlfriend Swift was celebrated at the People's Choice Awards. The event, aired on NBC on Sunday night, honored artists across music, film, and television for their outstanding contributions.
During his monologue, host and 'Shang Chi' actor Simu Liu highlighted Swift's immense popularity and acclaim over the past year, including her Eras Tour and movie, expressing his own admiration as a Swiftie.

Continuing his monologue, Liu stated, "Finally, for the most iconic pop culture moment of the year, who could forget that one little movie about a blonde American icon that had the entire country dressing up, dancing the night away, and making huge waves at the box office. I'm talking of course about 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie'."
Continuing his monologue, Liu thought that the audience might have thought he was talking about 'Barbie' and conveyed, "Oh, I'm sorry did you think I was gonna say the other- no, no. Look, I was a swiftie long before I was Ken. Okay? Just wanted to be super clear where my loyalties lay. I'm a 1989 baby so Taylor and I, we're bonded."
The cameras then panned to Hiddleston, who had dated Swift for three months in 2016, as Liu mentioned the album. Hiddleston's reaction, a subtle yet somewhat humorous smile, ignited a frenzy among internet fans.
According to the US Sun, their relationship began in June 2016, shortly after Swift's split from Calvin Harris, with photographs of them kissing on a beach near her Rhode Island mansion. However, they parted ways in September, with Swift's team attributing the split to Hiddleston's desire for publicity, though sources close to him suggested he simply grew weary of the spotlight.
