Tammy Slaton 'seeking a female' partner after husband's death

In an exclusive clip from the upcoming season finale of '1000-lb Sisters', airing December 17, Tammy Slaton candidly shares her feelings with her brother Chris and his wife Brittany, per People.

"It's almost been a year since Caleb passed. I think I'm ready to start looking for somebody," she said, expressing her readiness to move on. Chris emphasizes that his priority is for Slaton to find someone who will treat her well.

But Slaton is also reflecting on her evolving feelings about love.

In a confessional, the 38-year-old reality star reveals: "Lately, I've been feeling like it's time for me to start moving on and to start seeking love again. But this time, I'm thinking of seeing a female. As it stands right now, I don't want to be with another man. It just doesn't feel right. I don't even have those feelings for a guy anymore after Caleb passed."

Slaton's late husband, Willingham, was a pivotal part of her life. The two met at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Ohio while both were focused on their weight-loss journeys.

Their connection was instant, leading to their marriage in November 2022. At the time, Slaton described Willingham as “the love of her life” and praised how seamlessly he fit into her family.

Sadly, Willingham died just seven months later in July 2023, at the age of 40.

Slaton opened up about her profound loss, describing Caleb as her "best friend" and saying, “When I met Caleb, he became my guardian angel, and now he really is watching over me.”

She clarified that she is not transgender but shared that her sexuality has shifted since Willingham's death: "I was saying I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m like a lesbian.”

Slaton emphasized that her openness about sexuality is rooted in love and acceptance for everyone. She said, "I’m not a hater. Love is love. Everybody deserves love, whether they’re gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary, whatever. I’m just a lover."
