LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christopher Lambert is currently recovering from a significant back injury sustained a few months ago after tripping down stairs at a hotel.
The 67-year-old French-American star has been undergoing physical therapy to regain his strength and prepare for his next film project, 'Tulipomania', his representative Lucas Confortini confirmed to TMZ on Thursday, March 13.

Lambert was scheduled to appear at SciFiWorld, a popular convention in Jonkoping, Sweden, this weekend.
However, organizers took to Facebook, claiming that the actor had suffered a “serious accident” on Monday, March 10, preventing him from making the trip.
His representative later clarified the situation, explaining that while Lambert deeply values fan events, his current physical condition does not allow him to attend.
"While he has the highest respect for people organizing events and fans who attend; unfortunately, this time he will not be able to attend the [convention],” Confortini stated.
