Zendaya explained on Friday, April 26 episode of 'Jennifer Hudson Show' that she’s been waiting for the “right timing” to return to her music career. However, There was no sign of a second album made yet.

"I love music, and it’s something that’s been special to me,” the 'Challengers' actress told Jennifer Hudson. She added, “I think being in the music industry, maybe it, it didn’t kill the joy of music, but it’s when you put music and business together. Sometimes it cannot feel so good.”
Zendaya performed at Coachella in 2023, singing with Labrinth to 'I’m Tired' and 'All for Us,' both of which were featured on HBO’s 'Euphoria.'

Talking about the Labrinth appearance with Hudson, Zendaya said she refused the suggestion she performed at first. She said, "He asked me if I wanted to come out and perform and immediately I was like, ‘Oh, absolutely not.’ I was like ‘I can’t do that,’” she said, adding that she was worried about “stage fright.”
"I have bad memories of performing live when I was a kid,” Zendaya continued, but said she “can’t run from this forever.”
The 'Euphoria' star added, "You know, I think if the right timing and it came, because I like creating it for myself, but if there was a moment, maybe I would, you know, put out a little something,” further saying, "Don’t get crazy! We’ll see, but maybe one day.”
