Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce debut as couple at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Taylor Swift and NFL athlete Travis Kelce appeared at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 on Thursday night, March 26, marking it as their award debut. 

While their highly anticipated red-carpet entry was missing, as Swift made a solo entry, the couple was seen sitting together during the event.

The camera also captured some cosy moments between the couple as they did not shy away from showing PDA and happily posed for pictures together.

Swift receives award for Pop Album of the Year

Taylor Swift was awarded the Pop Album of the Year. The iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, also marked the Grammy winner’s first award appearance in 2026. The last award show that witnessed Swifty’s presence was the Grammy Awards 2025.

Swifty voiced her appreciation and admiration of her fiance as she took to the stage to accept the award for pop album of the year.

“The album The Life of a Showgirl was really inspired by the energy that I felt looking into crowds and seeing you guys and connecting with you every single night. And so the album came out with this energy of just feeling really happy and strong and confident and free, and so I wanna say thank you to the fans for giving me that feeling,” she said.

Taylor Swift credits Kelce for confidence

Acknowledging the presence of her fiance in the audience while she was accepting the award, Swift said she feels free, confident, and happy every day because Kelce exists in her life.

“This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life, because of my fiance, who’s here tonight,” Swift added.

Swift also expressed her gratitude to iHeart and her fans for enjoying her song ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ and making it the biggest hit of her career, noting, “You made that into the biggest hit of my career, which is crazy at this point.”

So far this year, Swift has become the most nominated artist with nine nominations. These include pop artist of the year, favourite tour style (for the Eras Tour), and song of the year for 'The Fate of Ophelia'.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in 2025

Rumours of a romantic relationship between Swift and Kelce surfaced in the summer of 2023, and the couple announced their engagement two years later in August 2025.

Although the duo may not have made the red-carpet entry together yet, Swift has regularly been attending the Kansas City Chiefs players’ NFL games. In 2024, Kelce made a surprise on-stage cameo during Swift’s performance of 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart'.
