Their hockey night appearance marks one of their few public outings since Swift wrapped the latest international leg of her Eras Tour. And with no more tour dates until next year, the two are finally leaning into some long-awaited downtime.

According to sources close to the couple, this fall is shaping up to be the first “normal” football season for Swift and Kelce since they began dating, one without Swift jetting between continents mid-week or squeezing in post-show meetups.

“She’s really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,” a source told PEOPLE. “Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule.”

The Grammy winner spent much of the last year performing across multiple continents while Kelce powered through the NFL season and a Super Bowl run.

Swift famously appeared at games worldwide, even amid her tight tour schedule. But now, the couple is taking full advantage of their shared window of peace before football ramps up again in August.

“This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar,” the insider added.  “The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn’t easy but they made it work.”

In the days leading up to their appearance at the Stanley Cup Final, Swift and Kelce were seen enjoying a casual evening out in Florida. On June 4, fans posted footage of the two leaving a Miami-area restaurant, with Kelce trailing just behind Swift as someone held the door open for them.
