KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Taylor Swift fans, famously known as Swifties, are commemorating the anniversary of a significant turning point in her relationship with NFL player Travis Kelce, which eventually led to their romantic tale.

Fans are celebrating the day when Travis' first — albeit unsuccessful — attempt to get Swift's attention during her Missouri Eras Tour event.

Travis Kelce attempted to get Taylor Swift's number at Missouri Eras Tour event

Swifties are rejoicing in the now-successful romance one year after Travis Kelce recounted how he attempted and failed to give Taylor Swift his phone number at a Missouri Eras Tour event.

On July 26, 2023, Travis talked with his brother and 'New Heights' podcast co-host, Jason Kelce, about his experience going to Swift's Eras Tour show in Missouri.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end expressed regret that he was unable to give Swift a friendship bracelet including his phone number.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis told his brother at the time.

Jason asked Travis if his brother was talking about his phone number or his jersey number, to which he answered, "You know which one."

"She doesn't meet anybody — or at least she didn't want to meet me. So, I took it personal," Travis explained back then.

The pop star's fans took to X on Friday, July 26, in observance of the anniversary of the NFL star's shot, while speaking with brother Jason on his podcast.

Although it was one of Travis' few unsuccessful attempts at Arrowhead Stadium, the couple and their happily ever after went on to dominate headlines, and they still do today.

Swift later admitted in an interview that they had a soft landing before going on a few secret dates at a Chiefs-Bears game in September, per Daily Mail.

Swift revealed, "We started hanging out right after [the podcast episode]. We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other."

The 'New Heights' account also made mention of the historic day when they posted on their X account, saying, "It’s been one hell of a year😅." Swift's and the Kelce brothers' supporters flocked in immediately.

"And something tells me the best is still yet to come!!!! 🥰 you guys are the best, thanks for letting us join you this last year!" exclaimed one appreciative admirer.

Another added, "Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!"

A third fan remarked, "Thanks for feeding us something!!! We are all out here so excited…..everything has changed….for all of us this past year but way more for new heights, kelces and tnt……"

Several Swifties took the moment to celebrate their enthusiasm as one wrote, "Forever thankful for friendship bracelets, New Heights and Jason being an inquisitive big brother. Happy ONE YEAR to this iconic moment!"

Another added, "Travis “very adorably put [taylor] on blast on his podcast” exactly one year ago and the rest is history"

"ONE YEAR AGO! Well Travis, You knew what you wanted and boy, you got her," exclaimed one.

One user exclaimed, "Happy anniversary to all who celebrate Travis Kelce putting Taylor on blast on his podcast. Happy anniversary to ME being the BIGGEST Tayvis fan from day 1!!!a year later and IT WORKED!!!"
