Hugh Jackman's career unease after attending NFL game with Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds
Taylor Swift's post come after Hugh Jackman's recent revelation about why attending an NFL game with Taylor Swift in 2023 made him feel uneasy about his career.
The Australian actor, along with co-star Ryan Reynolds, was asked about their experience at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October 2023, where they were cheering for Swift's tight end boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Jackman, Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, and several other celebrities had been invited to watch the game from Swift's VIP lounge.
"If you ever really want to kinda not feel great about your career, go to [an NFL] game with Taylor Swift and Blake Lively — and then you're Blake Lively, Taylor Swift 'and others' at the game," Hugh told People magazine at the premiere of their Marvel Studios movie in New York City on July 22.
The three actors were seen alongside supermodel Gigi Hadid on the red carpet.
Reynolds agreed, adding, "We're just the 'and others.'"
'X-Men' star Jackman humorously noted that he was indeed labeled as "and others" by several media outlets that posted pictures from a game night.
Meanwhile, Jackman and Reynolds' film is expected to have a successful opening weekend, with experts predicting a $165 million debut, potentially the best of the year, according to Variety.
