Taylor Swift fans 'smell drama' as sources reveal singer 'not surprised' by Kim Kardashian's selfie with ex-BFF Karlie Kloss

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian might have gently clapped back at Taylor Swift by posting a photo with the pop star's former best friend Karlie Kloss—following her disdain for the song 'thanK you aIMee' in 'The Tortured Poets Department'.

However, sources now revealed that Swift was 'not surprised' by Kim's subtle yet lewd behavior, with one insider labeling Kim's act of sharing a selfie with Kloss as a "typical mean girl move."

Taylor Swift 'not surprised' by Kim Kardashian's photo with ex-BFF Karlie Kloss

Insiders close to the 34-year-old pop sensation claimed that she was not surprised when the 43-year-old SKIMS founder shared a picture with Swift's ex-best pal Karlie Kloss amid their ongoing spat.

"Taylor wasn’t surprised by the dig. She thought it was a typical mean girl move by Kim," the insider said. "At this rate, these two may never get along. They definitely aren’t ready to forgive and forget yet," per OK! Magazine.

On April 22, Kim celebrated her pal Derek Blasberg's birthday by posting several images on her Instagram Stories.

In one of the postings, Kim posted a group selfie with Derek, her sister Khloe Kardashian, editor-in-chief of W Magazine Sara Moonves, and Kloss, 31, per PEOPLE.

Kim's post comes after Swift's 11th studio album, 'The Tortured Poets Department', was released on April 19. This record caused fans to rekindle their interest in the conflict between the Grammy winner and SKIMS founder.

Swift released a double album, two hours after the first record was released. The song 'thanK you aIMee' from the double album caught fans' attention and led some to believe that it might be a reference to Kim.

Fans assumed the song was aimed at 'The Kardashians' star because of Swift's lyrics about bullying and the capitalization of the song's title, KIM.

Swift sings, "All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F--- you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’/ But I can’t forget the way you made me heal," seemingly hinting at their conflict in the song.

Swifties jumped on social media and made the connections in a matter of milliseconds with one writing on X (formerly Twitter), "Kim Kardashian posting Karlie Kloss right now is truly f***ing crazy oh my god."

A second one added, "Not kim posting a pic with karlie today that was taken TWO YEARS ago??? i smell drama."

An image showing George W Bush's presidential assistant informing him about 9/11 was uploaded by another user, with the caption: "Kim Kardashian has posted with Karlie Kloss."

"Kim really said oh do you really wanna make people believe a song about karlie is about me? BET (this is an old picture so the message is pretty clear)," wrote one user.

Another X user remarked, "The thanK you aIMee get together since when are they friends," referring to Swift's 'TTPD' album.

One more noted, "Kim Kardashian sharing a two-year-old photo of her and Karlie Kloss to her story four days after Taylor Swift dropped a song about her is SOOOOO rich...we are SOOOOOO back"

One user posted, "Kim, who posted an old picture with karlie on her instagram story today, is definitely 'over it' and 'moved on'."

This post is in reference to the Skims founder's reported response to 'thanK you aIMee' when sources informed People magazine that Kim is "over it and thinks Taylor should move on."
