Taylor Swift adds three opening acts to her London Eras Tour concerts

Taylor Swift is adding three opening acts to her Eras Tour concerts in London that are scheduled to take place in June and August. The songstress informed her fans about the recent development through her Instagram Story on Monday, May 27. 

She wrote, "I just found out Fortnight is #1 on the UK airplay chart!!!!" before adding, "Thought this might be a fun time to announce the first group of opening acts I'll be adding to the London shows, going on before Paramore. I chose artists whose music I love listening to, and I can't wait for them to add an extra jolt of excitement to our shows." The three acts added are METTE, Griff and Benson Boone.

Taylor Swift is a global phenomenon and nobody can ignore that. Just before Swift's concerts in Spain, a Spanish man named Roberto Santos, 55, shared that his devotion for Swift has earned him recognition from Swift's team, including Swift's limited-edition platinum disk award, signed photos, recordings, and sneakers.

In an interview, he shared, "Sometimes I wake up at night, turn on the light and look a little, and say to myself: 'What are you doing?'... I just look, it gives me calm, and I go back to sleep," before adding, "For me she means everything; I've been following her since before 2011... I had the gut feeling that she was going to be big. If I had the same intuition with the lottery, I'd be rich."

Taylor Swift fans point out difference in performance from last year

Over a year of Eras Tour later, fans have started observing the difference in Taylor Swift's attitude in her concerts. A TikTok user named @thetaylorswiftofitall compared Swift performing the song 'Vigilante S***' in her May 26, 2023 show from New Jersey with her performing it in Lisbon on May 25, 2024.

The user said Swift has become much more "confident" while performing and added that her costumes have become more "cheeky."

Opening for Taylor Swift 'a dream come true' for Mette

After Taylor Swift announced that Mette would be opening for her London leg of Eras Tour, the musician is in cloud nine. Talking about her upcoming gig at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 21, Mette said, "The first thing that popped into my head was: 'oh, my gosh, there's going be a lot of people in that stadium'."

She continued, "And a lot of Swifties that don't know about me and don't know my music. And I get an opportunity to share my music with people."

Edinburgh gets ready to welcome Taylor Swift

Edinburgh is getting ready to extend a warm welcome to the pop star on June 7, 8 and 9. Over 200,000 Swifties will attend The Eras Tour shows at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.

To make it more memorable, several businesses from the hospitality sector have come forward to make the ‘Edinburgh Taylored Taste Trail’, which will offer the fans sweet treats and confectionaries.
