Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris in post signed as 'childless cat lady'
After Tuesday night's presidential debate, Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president in an Instagram post, signing off as "Childless Cat Lady," a reference to Trump's VP pick JD Vance's past remarks.
In her post, Swift stated, "I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them," and praised Harris as a "steady-handed, gifted leader," adding, "I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."
Swift included a photo with a cat and addressed Vance's 2021 comments calling Democrats, including Harris, "a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives," which he later claimed were "sarcastic."
Swift also lauded Harris's vice-presidential pick, Tim Walz, for his long-standing support of LGBTQ+ rights and women's issues.
The singer decided to publicly endorse Harris after an AI-generated image falsely showing her supporting Trump circulated online.
"It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation," she said, emphasizing the need for transparency about her voting intentions.
Trump's use of the fake image led to a backlash from Swift's fans, who accused him of misinformation.

Elon Musk fires back at Taylor Swift’s Harris endorsement, says ‘I will give you a child’
Elon Musk, despite his immense influence, couldn’t overshadow Taylor Swift’s impact. After the presidential debate on September 10, Swift swiftly took to social media, sharing a 300-word endorsement for Kamala Harris.
"Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life," Musk, who backs Donald Trump, wrote on X after her endorsement.
Taylor's support is a major boost for the Democrats, as she urged voters to research and choose wisely.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift declared.
“I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

Could Taylor Swift secretly be a Trump supporter?
On Sunday, Taylor Swift’s hug with Brittany Mahomes at the US Open sparked significant attention, especially due to Mahomes’s recent political controversies. Mahomes, who is married to NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, faced backlash after liking a Trump Instagram post outlining controversial GOP policies.
Trump later thanked her for her support, which she defended against criticism. This context made Swift’s public embrace of Mahomes notable, with some interpreting it as a sign of Swift’s political alignment, possibly towards Trump.
Swift’s past endorsements of Democratic candidates, including Joe Biden in 2020, contrast with this recent speculation. The pop star has been silent on Trump's recent use of AI-generated images implying her endorsement, which has led to further scrutiny.
Unlike other celebrities who have publicly rejected Trump’s association, Swift’s spokesperson has not commented on the fake endorsement images.

Major shift in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship, claims body language expert
A body language expert has suggested changes in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, raising 'red flags' after their PDA-filled appearance at the US Open on September 8.
This sighting followed rumors about a supposed breakup, fueled by a fake 'contract' circulating online, which allegedly outlined their 'breakup' date and media strategy.
Darren Stanton, speaking for Spin Genie, analyzed their public interaction, noting three major theories.
He observed a decline in Travis’s energy and public displays of affection, stating, "Travis' energy levels have appeared to 'drop' and the level of interpersonal attraction 'appears to have decreased in public'.”
He added that their previously strong PDA and eye contact have lessened, suggesting that their connection "no longer feels authentic."
Stanton also pointed out that Taylor seems to be 'always on duty' with Travis, implying a loss of natural affection.
He speculated that Travis might be feeling overwhelmed by the 'media frenzy circus' surrounding their relationship, leading to a decrease in genuine gestures and enthusiasm.
“I believe we will continue to see a gradual decrease in these gestures and signatures with their behaviour over the coming weeks,” he concluded.
