Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour helps Josh Hartnett grasp 'Trap' concert audience depiction
Josh Hartnett realized after attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with his daughters that the concert audience depicted in the movie 'Trap' wasn’t actually “over-the-top.” The actor, who stars in M Night Shyamalan’s upcoming psychological thriller, admitted that he initially didn’t fully understand the life-altering experience concerts can be for fans today. This led him to question how the audience was portrayed in the film.
Hartnett told the Associated Press, “I took them to the Eras Tour about two weeks ago when it came to London, to see Taylor Swift, and that was the first big thing they were interested in seeing.” He shared that the experience was eye-opening: “What was amazing about it, I sent a picture to Night basically saying this is life imitating art. Because when we shot the film I felt like his characterization of the audience felt over-the-top to me, as someone who hadn’t been to a pop concert with their kids yet.”
Taylor Swift’s stellar performance at 2010 NFL kickoff concert amid Travis Kelce’s suspension
Rewind to September 9, 2010. Taylor Swift, known for consistently declining Super Bowl halftime shows, dazzled the stage at the NFL regular season kickoff concert in Jackson Square, New Orleans. This event was held before the season opener between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings and marked a significant milestone for Swift as she was transitioning from country music to pop, a shift that fully materialized by 2014. Her performance included hits like 'Love Story,' 'You Belong With Me,' and 'Teardrops on My Guitar'.
Interestingly, while Swift was entertaining NFL fans in New Orleans, Travis Kelce’s career as a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bearcats took a downturn. He was suspended for the entire 2010 season after failing a drug test. This setback was part of a journey that would eventually lead him to NFL stardom. Three years later, Kelce was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs as a tight end. Since then, he has clinched three Super Bowl titles. In the upcoming season, Kelce and the Chiefs will be chasing a three-peat, a feat no other franchise has achieved.
