Ivanka Trump honors daughter Arabella's 13th birthday with Taylor Swift-inspired cake
Ivanka Trump celebrated her daughter Arabella’s 13th birthday in a distinctive and memorable party on Wednesday, July 17, with a striking Taylor Swift-inspired cake that ended up being the focal point of the celebration. Arabella entered her teen years with a heart-shaped birthday cake bearing the Taylor Swift lyrics "Boys only want love if it's torture" from her hit song 'Blank Space.'
However, the lyrics weren't the only thing on the cake. In a tribute to the powerful imagery from the song, it showed a dramatic inside, when it was sliced, filled with red icing or dye that mimicked blood. Ivanka posted a picture of the cake to Instagram, expressing her happiness in the caption, "The best cake ever for my favorite Swiftie."

Kim Gordon says she's 'not really a fan of Taylor Swift'
The 71-year-old Sonic Youth singer acknowledged that Taylor Swift's music is not precisely her style, adding that she has no idea about much of the Grammy winner's repertoire. When asked to identify her "most controversial pop culture opinion," Gordon revealed her feelings on Swift to an outlet, saying, "I don’t know if it’s controversial, but I’m not really a fan of Taylor Swift."
"I couldn’t tell you what her music sounded like, actually," the 'Girl in a Band' author added. But one aspect of Swift's talent that Gordon is aware of is her diary-style poetry. In a February interview with The Guardian, Gordon compared her writing approach and that of Swift to promote her most recent album, 'The Collective'. Gordon remarked, "Sure I’m journalling, just like Taylor Swift," at the time.

Griff discusses her opening act at Taylor Swift Eras Tour
Whether by coincidence or design, British singer-songwriter Griff (real name: Sarah Faith Griffiths) and Taylor Swift met in November 2022 at a Kendrick Lamar show. Their encounter resulted in Griff's opening for Swift on the Eras Tour. "It was a bit coincidental because she just announced the support for America," Griff said over the phone.
Swift expressed her desire to take the 23-year-old on a tour. Griff described being asked to perform in London as part of the Eras Tour as "very, very surreal." A rare opportunity to perform in front of 89,000 yelling Wembley fans might never come around. "Everyone was texting me. My phone was blowing up. It was amazing, and it was really cool to do it in my hometown as well," Griff exclaimed.
