Will Taylor Swift join Travis Kelce at the White House?
As President Joe Biden prepares to welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on Friday, May 31, to celebrate their Super Bowl win, speculation is rife whether Taylor Swift, who is dating the team’s tight end Travis Kelce, will also make an appearance. White House Swifties are eagerly hoping for a glimpse of the pop star, and the excitement surrounding her potential attendance is palpable. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre did not confirm Swift's attendance but acknowledged the buzz it has created. "I think the Swifties behind these double doors are hoping that Taylor Swift makes an appearance," Jean-Pierre commented with a laugh, emphasizing the interest in Swift's potential visit.
In 2018, then-President Donald Trump disinvited the Philadelphia Eagles from their White House celebration over a dispute about standing for the national anthem.
If Swift does attend, it could be seen as more than just a supportive gesture for her boyfriend. In 2020, she endorsed President Biden shortly before the election, and while she hasn't made any public endorsements for the 2024 presidential election yet, many believe her influence could impact election outcomes.

Nonprofit organization clears Taylor Swift of blame for relocation of the homeless
As Taylor Swift's Eras Tour approaches its Edinburgh dates, reports have emerged about the city's homeless population being relocated to accommodate the influx of tourists. However, Shelter Scotland, a nonprofit advocating for the homeless, emphasizes that Swift is not to blame for the situation. Alison Watson, Director of Shelter Scotland, said Edinburgh should be able to host major events without negatively impacting its homeless residents. Watson stressed the issue stems from long-term underinvestment in social housing, not Swift's concert.
Swift's tour will bring her to Murrayfield Stadium for three nights, causing a significant increase in visitors to the city. Consequently, homeless individuals who typically receive tourist accommodations are being moved out of Edinburgh, a move Shelter Scotland condemns. Despite the turmoil, Shelter Scotland makes it clear they hold no ill will towards Taylor Swift, instead pointing to broader systemic issues as the root cause of the disruption.

John Harbaugh jokes about Travis Kelce retiring to start a family with Taylor Swift
John Harbaugh, the Baltimore Ravens head coach, recently shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship, revealing a humorous wish for the Kansas City Chiefs star to retire soon and start a family with the pop icon. In an interview, Harbaugh, 61, credited his daughter Alison for introducing him to Swift’s music, which he has grown to appreciate despite not considering himself a full-fledged Swiftie. He praised Swift's talent, stating, "When you watch her perform, oh my god, it’s sick how talented she is."
Harbaugh joked about the possibility of Kelce, 34, retiring to focus on family life with Swift, also 34, after they began dating in summer 2023. "I hope they get married,” he said. “I hope they have a bunch of kids. Heck, maybe he’ll get ready to retire here pretty soon to pursue that family aspect of his life.” He added with a laugh, “I would encourage that.” Despite the jokes, Harbaugh expressed genuine support for the couple, calling their romance “the coolest thing ever” and saying he’s “rooting for them.”
Ryan Reynolds jets off to Spain to attend Taylor Swift's Madrid show with Blake Lively
Ryan Reynolds joined his wife Blake Lively in Madrid to watch their friend Taylor Swift perform during her Eras Tour. The couple was seen enjoying the concert at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on May 30. Reynolds, 47, was spotted dancing while Lively, 36, ran around barefoot, according to an audience member. Lively had already attended Swift's first Madrid show the previous night with their children.
The 'Deadpool' actor had announced his plans to see Swift in Madrid earlier this month on 'Today with Hoda & Jenna'. He revealed it would be his first time attending the international tour, after being busy with work for the past year and a half. Reynolds and Lively share four children: James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a fourth baby whose name has not been disclosed. Reynolds mentioned that his children had already been to several Eras Tour shows and were big fans of Swift. During the May 29 show, Swift gave a shout-out to the couple's three daughters while performing 'Betty', a song from her album 'Folklore' that includes their names.
