Taylor Swift praises her fans for breaking all-time attendance record, says 'you truly blew me away'
EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND: Taylor Swift has finally opened up about her emotional Edinburgh gigs during which she had to pause the shows several times.
The ‘Love Story’ crooner took to social media to congratulate and thank her fans for showing love at all three events of her Eras Tour.
"Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend. Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row 🤯 and for all the ways you made us feel right at home. Love you, all 220,000 of you!!! 🤍” Swift captioned the post while sharing snaps from the Murrayfield Stadium.

Swift's praise for fans came after the shows had to be stopped several times as, on one occasion, she noticed a fan who needed help in the audience.

"We need some help over there please," she said while gesturing to the crowd, reports The Mirror.
"We need help right in front of me, please, right in front of me," the 34-year-old sang to the more than 70,000 fans.

The 'Karma' singer said, "Gonna keep playing until we notice where it is. Right there. I'm just gonna keep playing 'til somebody helps them, then I'm gonna keep singing the song."
Swift continued, "I don't think anybody's gotten to them yet, and they're gonna. Because we're not gonna keep singing, we're just gonna keep talking about the people that need help in front of me. Just let me know when. I can do this all night."

Number of halts during Taylor Swift's Edinburgh shows
While performing her song ‘Betty,’ from the 2020 'Folklore' album, Taylor halted mid-word to point again to the crowd and say: "We need some help right there," though a fan kept singing her popular hit song.
Swift had to pause on another occasion while entertaining fans with ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.’
"We need some help please," she said, pointing again to the crowd and then carrying on with the song.
Known for prioritizing her fans' welfare, Swift has previously halted shows to assist those in need. Her European tour leg will proceed with upcoming gigs Liverpool, Cardiff, and London.
