Taylor Swift responds to Hugh Grant's praise of her 'incredible' Wembley Eras Tour concert

LONDON, ENGLAND: After the British actor Hugh Grant praised Taylor Swift for her London Eras Tour concert that he attended on Saturday, June 22, the ‘London Boy’ songstress replied in an equally adorable fashion.

Grant, along with a score of Hollywood luminaries including Tom Cruise, Greta Gerwig, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Paul McCartney attended the second day of Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. 

Following the concert, the 63-year-old actor sent a sweet thank-you note to the Grammy-winning superstar, which has since been viral.

Taylor Swift thanks Hugh Grant

Swift performed a trio of her Eras Tour shows at the Wembley Stadium in England over the weekend, per Daily Mail.

After attending her sold-out concert on Saturday with wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein and their eight-year-old daughter, Grant wrote on X, “Dear @taylorswift13, You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots.). Thanks so much from one ageing London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old #halfgirlhalfbracelet.”

After wrapping up her three-nighter, Swift took to social media to acknowledge Grant’s post and sent an equally memorable note. 

Swift replied on Monday, “As a long time Hugh Grant stan this tweet is very important to my culture.”

The Saturday concert also marked the on-stage debut of Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end looked dapper as he joined the 'Lover' singer during her performance on 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart'. To the collective surprise of innumerable fans, Travis even lifted Swift up on stage. 

Swift’s concerts in London were well-attended by an average of 90,000 fans. Moreover, Swift’s show on Friday was also attended by Prince William, ‘Bridgerton’ star Nicola Coughlan, Jason and Kylie Kelce among others. 

Taylor Swift's reply puts fans in a frenzy

Following the heartwarming exchange between Hugh Grant and Taylor Swift, the internet went into a frenzy with fans gushing about the duo. Moreover, Grant's description of Travis in the post also found a separate fandom altogether.
