LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It appears that Taylor Swift has already captured the affection of Travis Kelce's teammates, as Kansas City head coach Andy Reid recently disclosed that she made homemade Pop-Tarts for the Chiefs' offensive linemen.
He further mentioned that the Pop-Tarts were so delicious that he wasn't able to grab one for himself. Moreover, he praised Swift for her humility and kindness. With these revelations, the internet showered Swift with praise.
Taylor Swift baked pop-tarts for Chiefs
In a recent interview on NBC, Big Red aka Andy Reid opened up about having Taylor Swift around his team. He even shared an interesting anecdote at the NFL Combine on Tuesday, February 27 when he was asked about the pop superstar's presence around the team.
In the interview, Reid said, "It was certainly a sweet experience for many because big boys up front felt the love in the form of some pastries at some point during their championship season."
Reid also highlighted that he has known the Swift family for years. He expressed admiration for Taylor's continued down-to-earth demeanor throughout her career, despite being, in his opinion, the most famous woman on the planet.
To provide context, the interview took place a few weeks after Swift attended the 2024 Super Bowl, where the Chiefs emerged victorious against the 49ers.
She joined Kelce on the field to celebrate his victory after watching the game from a suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, and Kelce's family.
'Taylor Swift is the most famous woman in the world'
By consistently attending Chiefs games from September of last year to February, Swift showed towards the end of the season that she had the potential to substantially boost NFL viewership.
Having worked with the Philadelphia Eagles in the past, Reid first got to know the performer and her family. He has previously expressed his appreciation for her.
“Since the queen has passed away, she might be the most famous woman in the world,” he said of Swift on 'Pro Football Talk.'
“She’s so grounded for who she is. I think it’s a great escape for her, where she can come [to games]. She sincerely enjoys the games," he added.
