Taylor seemed to be flaunting a fabulous opal ring to her friends in snapshots from her birthday adventure. This led to a theory exploring the deep symbolism of the piece of jewelry, hinting that there could be more to it than just 'Paper Rings'.

One of Taylor's recent standout appearances was her starry-themed outfit for her 34th birthday celebration, with a particular emphasis on the prominent ring she sported on her right middle finger, as seen in numerous photos on her Instagram carousel.
In snapshots captured of Taylor strolling outside her New York City party, she is spotted showcasing what seems to be an opal ring encircled by blue gemstones to her close friends, Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry.

A TikTok user by the name of Swiftieinkc analyzed the photos in a video that has since gone viral, suggesting that the center opal (Kelce's birthstone) seems to be encircled by what could potentially be blue topaz, the birthstone of the singer, who is a Sagittarius.
"This to me is giving gift," stated the TikToker, adding, "It's giving, 'Look what he got me.' It's giving, 'Look how beautiful this custom piece is'," as stated by Elle.

In a subsequent video, Swiftieinkc revealed that Sperry liked her analysis of the ring, a significant gesture that has reinvigorated the speculation that the jewelry is indeed a present from 34-year-old Kelce.
Notably, the 'Blank Space' singer's fondness for opals is well-known, and she seems to have a deep-rooted connection to the gemstone.
"When I was bullied in school, my mom used to take me to TJ Maxx after school to look at the opal jewelry," noted Taylor to US Weekly in 2017, adding, "I thought opals were so beautiful, and somehow it made me feel better."
Moreover, in September, the singer was seen sporting an opal pendant from the popular jewelry brand FoundRae. Interestingly, the pendant, priced at $1,150, is called "Forever & Always a Pair Pendant," echoing a well-known track from Taylor's album 'Fearless' album, as per PEOPLE Magazine.
Rumors surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement
Swift and Kelce have recently been at the center of engagement rumors, with several outlets, including Page Six, suggesting that the Chiefs tight end might be in plans to pop the question.
However, a source has provided clarification to The Messenger, stating that a proposal is not on the immediate horizon.
They expressed, "There are no plans for an engagement anytime soon. There is no engagement at this time."
This comes after reports that Kelce had asked for the blessing of Swift's father, Scott Swift, for the proposal.
