KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy found himself fanboying when he encountered Taylor Swift on the field after the AFC Championship game between his team and Buffalo Bills at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, January 26, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The 21-year-old couldn’t hide his shock when he realized the pop sensation was “taller" than him, which quickly became a viral moment on social media.

Worthy, who stands at 5-foot-11, was visibly stunned by Taylor Swift’s height when he saw her hugging Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid at Arrowhead Stadium.

In a viral X (formerly Twitter) video, Worthy could be seen in the background with a wide-eyed expression, exclaiming to someone, “Oh, s**t. Taller than me!”

Despite  NFL player’s stats listing him at 5 feet 11 inches, Swift is just one inch shorter at 5 feet 10 inches.  Yet, it was still enough to catch the NFL player off guard, Page Six reported.

The Grammy-winning artist, who has been a regular presence at Chiefs games since she began dating tight end Travis Kelce, was in full celebration mode after the Chiefs secured a spot in the upcoming Super Bowl.

The 'Love Story' singer's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is 6 feet 5 inches tall.

When Worthy was chosen as a first-round draft pick in April 2024, Swift expressed her support for him.

At the time, Kansas City Chiefs wrote on Instagram, “The moment @worthyyy became a Kansas City Chief.” The post was “liked” by the pop icon.

Taylor Swift’s interaction with Xavier Worthy quickly gained traction across social media, with fans responding to the latter's hilarious reaction to how tall the singer is.

Talking about Swift's height, one person remarked, "She's got major reach skills."
