What happened during the Penn State altercation?
In a video that quickly went viral, the student can be heard asking Jason Kelce, "Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?"
The derogatory comment naturally did not sit well with the retired NFL star, who stopped to confront the individual. He swiftly took his phone and slammed it to the ground.

Now, a source close to the Kelces and Swift has revealed to Daily Mail that the 14-time Grammy-winning pop sensation has reacted to Jason's gesture with appreciation.
Taylor Swift is appreciative of Jason Kelce's gesture
The source said, "Taylor and Travis were both really shocked by this, considering Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world," before adding, "It really became clear how much he loves and respects Taylor. Travis means the world to him."
The insider explained that the use of the problematic language further triggered Jason, saying, "The use of the word f*****t is not okay with him nor anyone."
"This fan crossed the line," noted the tipster before concluding, "Jason will never stand for anyone insulting his family, and he views Taylor as family now."
The former Philadelphia Eagles star has not yet commented on the incident.
Travis and Swift have been dating for more than a year after they were initially linked in September 2023, when the 'Lover' singer went to support the Kansas City Chiefs tight end during an NFL game.
Jason and Swift have also become close over the course of her relationship with his younger brother. The former Philadephia Eagles center and his wife, Kylie Kelce, took two of their three daughters to see the pop star's Eras Tour in Miami last month
