LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift's fans, known as Swifties, couldn't be happier as reports recently are buzzing that the pop sensation has surpassed Queen Bee aka Beyonce's recent album, 'Cowboy Carter', by scoring the title of the biggest debut on Spotify for 2024 with her latest masterpiece, 'The Tortured Poets Department' (TTPD).

Swift's poetic prowess has left everyone awestruck with the release of 'TTPD'. The album is packed with collaborations, the most unexpected being with none other than 'Poor Things' star Emma Stone. Swift and her close pal teamed up for the track 'Florida' from 'TTPD', featuring Florence + The Machine.

However, amidst the accolades, Swift's song 'I Hate It Here' has stirred some controversy. Critics took issue with its lyrics, where Swift expresses a longing to live in the 1830s, stating her discontent with the present era.

Taylor Swift' 'TTPD' scores 200 million streams in a single day

According to the Daily Mail, Swift is smashing records with the surprise release of her eleventh studio album, which has been released as a double album titled 'The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology'.

Within just nine hours of its surprise drop, the 'Wildest Dreams' singer surpassed Beyonce's 'Cowboy Carter' as the biggest debut album of 2024 on Spotify. Beyonce's country album raked in 300.41 million official streams in its first week.

Simultaneously, 'Lover' singer's latest creation shot up to number one in over 60 countries on iTunes.

'Fortnight' is on track to be Swift's most successful song yet, claiming the number one spot in the US, the UK, and 33 other countries on Apple Music within nine hours of release.

'TTPD', already crowned the best-selling album of 2024 in the US, has also made waves as the biggest debut on Amazon Music. Analysts predict it will sell a staggering 2 million copies in its first week.

According to data from the Daily Mail, the most-streamed tracks on Spotify include 'Fortnight', 'Florida!!!', 'Down Bad', and 'So Long London'. And the album continues to break records, with Deadline reporting it as the most-streamed album on Spotify in a single day, amassing over 200 million streams.
