After Amber Portwood's fiance, Gary Wayt was located safe and sound, the internet had a lot to say about it. Following his unexpected disappearance and subsequent contact with police, social media users are sharing their thoughts on the situation.

One user commented, "How embarrassing for her just trying to ghost her and be low key about it and instead of contacting her he calls the cops to call off the search," highlighting the awkwardness of the situation for Amber.

Another user speculated, "Amber needed the publicity stunt to happen saying he was missing so that people would forget her calling her daughter a d**k and making her kid cry on her birthday," suggesting that the incident was a diversion from recent negative press.

Reflecting on Gary's motives, one user wrote, "He ran from his family too. All the pressure got to him. His family didn’t approve of his relationship. He argued with both Amber and his family. He ran off to probably contemplate his next move."

"I think this is publicity for Teen Mom. Amber barely has a storyline," another user claimed.

Finally, expressing sympathy for Amber, a user noted, "I bet she wanted to crawl under a rock! How humiliating," capturing the sentiment of many who felt the situation was particularly mortifying for her.
