"I don't know if I'm the best person to give advice, because my advice is like just learn a skill or develop a hobby, and do not waste your energy on boys," Megan remarked during the interview.
The 'Transformers' actress went on, "All they're going to do is drain you. Just move on. Invest in yourself."
With the caption, "Life advice from a relationship expert," Megan re-shared the interview clip on her Instagram, which caused MGK, 33, to comment, "PREACH."
Megan made her remarks over a month after she officially ended her engagement to her long-term partner MGK in response to breakup rumors.
In an interview with the podcast 'Call Her Daddy,' Megan declined to comment on their current relationship status and stated, "What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul,' and there will always be a tether to him no matter what."

In another segment of the interview, Megan acknowledged MGK by listing her top three picks for the Coachella festival's headliners. The Coachella event took place in the Coachella Valley of California, simultaneously with Revolve Fest.
"Well, obviously, I have to say Machine Gun Kelly," the mom-of-three said, adding, "I'm not in the modern era, so I would say, Guns N' Roses or, you know who I would love to see, is Weezer. Weezer's so fire."
Furthermore, it was recently reported that Megan and MGK are currently living separately while they resolve their differences.
Following rumors of their engagement being called off, the singer is keeping low in their shared Encino home, while the actress remains at her Malibu pad, per Daily Mail.
In 2020, Megan and MGK began dating after meeting on the set of 'Midnight In The Switchgrass.' They frequently flaunted their love for one another in public, putting on displays of PDAs wherever they went.
When Megan and MGK announced their engagement on Instagram in 2022, they claimed to have "drank each other's blood" to commemorate their engagement.
