He donned a fresh blue ensemble, featuring a dapper navy velvet suit paired with a pale blue button-down shirt. While the 51-year-old actor's stylish outfit was eye-catching, it was his transformed facial hair that truly stole the spotlight, giving him an impressive new look.

During his appearance, he discussed the story behind his beard in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Explaining his decision, he said, "I grew it knowing that I was going to go into the play. The play didn’t need it. Long story short, I had a talk with my barber. I was like, ‘You always have a beard', and he was like, ‘Well, I kind of have a weak chin'."

Soon, when the actor recognized that his new style "can change the shape" of his face, he decided to "try it".
