LONDON, ENGLAND: Senior staff members of Kate Middleton, 42, allegedly do not have much knowledge of the Princess of Wales’ health condition following her planned abdominal surgery in January.

A source close to the royal household recently shared with Us Weekly that the Princess has been extremely private ever since her operation was conducted. Not only is she maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding her health, but the Princess’ several senior staffers are also not privy to her post-operative care.

Staffers are allegedly concerned about Kate Middleton’s whereabouts

The source, while talking to Us Weekly per New York Post revealed that the mother-of-three is recuperating from her surgery behind closed doors and is off the limits to many of her staff members.

The source shared, “A few of Kate’s senior staffers haven’t been able to see or speak to her, and they didn’t even know about the surgery until it was announced, so it’s caught them off guard.”

The royal family and Kensington Palace have always been tight-lipped regarding Kate’s health, but speculations started growing as the Princess was not seen in the public eye for long barring a few Paparazzi photos.

The speculations about her health and whereabouts blew out of proportion when the official handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales released a photo of Kate along with her three children.

The photo soon started drawing internet flak as many online sleuths deemed the photo to be doctored. The photo was soon pulled down by six major photo-hosting sites after they served the “kill notice” to the photograph. The French concern, AFP even termed Kensington Palace a non-trustable source for information.

As the situation deteriorated, Kate had to post an apology message on X, writing she was trying some editing as an amateur photographer.

Now adding to the woes of the royal fans, the source revealed that Kate’s staffers weren’t aware of her operation until she had had it.

Nevertheless, the source also added that the princess has started opening up to her close friends recently about the nature of the operation.

The source added, “Only a few people know what’s really going on, and they’re tight-lipped,” before adding, “It’s confusing and causing some concern.”

The insider further added that the royal is covered by a “shroud of secrecy” and has had only a handful of visitors including King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

“Kate’s said she feels she’s entitled to heal and recuperate without all of this frenzied speculation,” said another insider, before adding emphatically, “Neither Kate nor William think her medical records should be for public consumption.”

They added, “She’s trying not to pay attention to all the rumors and gossip, and William is doing his best to shield her, but it’s distressing.”

Meanwhile, another tipster shared that despite the tough situation, the Prince and Princess of Wales are navigating through it together. “This has been a stressful time for William and Kate, but they’re made of tough stuff and are weathering through,” concluded the source.
