NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential election win has left ‘The View’ bosses concerned as they look for conservative voices to balance the show, according to reports.

The co-hosts of the talk show — Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines —- along with Republican Trump-bashers Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin are ultra-liberals, who all supported Kamala Harris for the Oval Office.

They even invited the vice president on the show, just a month before the November 5 election.

‘The View’ co-hosts called ‘out of touch with America’

However, now ABC News Group President Debra O'Connell and ABC News boss Almin Karamehmedovic are having meetings with other executives to make a few changes, the New York Post reported.

A tipster revealed, “The View is facing pressure from higher-ups. Viewers can expect some major changes including bringing in new panelists that can bring in a pro-Trump perspective.”

The source, however, did not clarify if anyone from the existing panel would lose their job or if the new member would be an addition to the current six hosts.

The source shared, “Everyone on ‘The View’ endorsed Kamala Harris. They lost. They are out of touch with America."

“For a show about different perspectives, ‘The View’ doesn’t seem to have any when it comes to Trump. ABC bosses don’t want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic,” the insider added.

Changes likely to happen because of the ‘economics’

The insider also clarified that the probable changes won’t happen due to politics but “they are about economics,” referring to ratings and advertising revenue.

“Trump got more than half of the vote. TV networks need to find pro-Trump voices and diversify viewpoints to reflect the various perspectives of Americans,” they stated.

Another insider told the outlet, “We are trying to sort out how we cover the next four years when everyone inside ABC News is on one side.”

However, as per an ABC spokesperson, “The View is an opinion-based show featuring a diverse panel of women with different points of view – the current panel is clearly resonating with audiences given that the series just had its highest-rated episode in more than a decade and hit a 4-year high in total viewers.”

Sunny Hostin blamed ‘White women’ for Donald Trump’s win

This came after ‘The View’ co-hosts expressed their disappointment and anger as Donald Trump won in the 2024 presidential election.

Goldberg, who did not say Trump’s name since he became president in 2016, reportedly said, “He’s now the president. I’m still not going to say his name. That’s not going to change.”

Her colleague Hostin claimed, “I think [Trump’s victory] had nothing to do with policy, I think this was a referendum on cultural resentment in this country.”

“Black women tried to save this country again, last night… what we do not have is white women, who voted about 52% for Donald Trump — uneducated white women is my understanding. You have Latino men actually, voting more for him,” she asserted.
