'The View's Sunny Hostin slams executive producer Brian Teta for 'not allowing time off' to Paris trip
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Executive producer Brian Teta was joined by co-host Sunny Hostin for the February 5 episode of the podcast, 'The View: Behind the Table.'
During the conversation, Hostin reportedly slammed Teta for not allowing her to take time off from the show to go on a trip, according to The US Sun.

Sunny Hostin's complaint against Brian Teta
Hostin was discussing her close relationships with multiple well-known figures in the industry, including television host Joy-Ann Reid, when she disclosed that she and her friends go on at least two vacations together each year.
However, the gal pals had to modify the plans for their latest trip, on account of Teta not permitting Hostin to skip her hosting duties on the morning program, claimed the 54-year-old.
"Every year. We try to go twice a year. You didn't let me go to Paris with them, but that's another story," she stated.

"Yeah, well, you know, you have a job," chuckled Teta, as Hostin continued, "They did go to Paris without me. That's the first trip I missed, thank you."
"We miss you when you're gone, Sunny," the producer tried to mellow her down, but to no avail.

"Thank you, Brian, for not giving me the time off. So I did miss that trip, but generally, it's two times a year. Now they said because of Brian, we're going to only try to do our trips during View times; thank you," expressed Hostin sarcastically.
Sunny Hostin's earlier tussle with Brian Teta
Teta was in the line of Hostin's fire back in October 2023, when she called him out for his "rude" behavior. It was in reference to the producer's practice of playing music to signal the hosts that it was time to cut to a commercial break.
Supporting her fellow co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, Hostin told Teta, "I don't like when you play the music, I think it's rude. Whoopi is an EGOT, and you're playing her off like it's the Oscars."
Teta tried to defend himself, saying, "Like I've said several times, time is both finite and linear, and I'm the only one who seems to understand that."
"I just think it's rude," stressed Hostin. "You don't do that to Whoopi or Joy. Rude."
