MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House Director of Strategic Communications and co-host on ‘The View’, joined the chorus of online voices reacting to the latest verdict against former President Donald Trump.

A federal jury has ordered the 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner to pay $83.3 million in damages to columnist E Jean Carroll for defamation.

Farah Griffin pointed out the Republican party's unwavering loyalty to Donald Trump in the face of Friday’s ruling in her tweet on Friday.

She wrote on X (formerly Twitter), alluding to Nikki Haley, "The wild thing: Republicans have an off ramp to nominate a conservative former 2-term Governor & UN Ambassador who is wildly popular with independents needed to win a General. But they'll stick by this guy."

Farah Griffin, the former Director of Strategic Communications for Donald Trump, has been a vocal critic of his term at the Oval Office.

Griffin's stance on the matter is grounded in her expertise in strategic communication, and her conviction that the President's approach to governance is not in line with the country's best interests.

Writer, E Jean Carroll, accused Donald Trump during his presidency of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the mid-1990s.

She also accused Trump of defaming her by disparaging her when she spoke out decades later.

After telling reporters, "She's not my type," Trump refuted the initial charges, which led to a federal defamation case.

Trump stated that he intends to challenge the court's "absolutely ridiculous" sentence, which comes in addition to a $5 million judgment for defamation and sexual assault that was rendered against him last year.

"I fully disagree with both verdicts, and will be appealing this whole Biden Directed Witch Hunt focused on me and the Republican Party," he wrote on Truth Social.

"Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon. They have taken away all First Amendment Rights. THIS IS NOT AMERICA!" he added.
