The Wiz reveals talking wrestling with Travis Kelce, claims Jason Kelce could be ‘very dangerous in WWE ring’

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: Like any other fan, The Miz also wants Jason Kelce to join WWE. The professional wrestler shared his thoughts and welcomed Kelce to professional wrestling if he wanted to give it a shot.

"He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring—not only with just the athleticism and the part of the wrestling, which I think he can absolutely do," Miz said to TMZ.

"I watched him jump up at a Bills game from, like, down and jump up into a window, and I was like, 'Oh my God, this guy is 300 pounds, how did he do that?' That's incredible."

Jason Kelce has significant fandom in WWE

This is not a secret to Jason that he has a strong fan base in WWE sports too. Interestingly, WrestleMania 40 is taking place in Philadelphia, and many expect the NFL star to make an appearance.

Since retirement, Jason Kelce has been active in public events, and he continues to co-host the podcast with his brother Travis.

Answering the reporter, The Miz spoke about whether Jason will be there for the event. 

"I don't know, the way I look at it is more of a fan of the Kelces," he said.

 

He then talked about spending time with Jason's younger brother Travis. “I've played golf with Travis, what an incredible human being. Even when we were golfing I was like, 'When are you coming to WWE? When are you coming to WrestleMania?'"

He added, “With Jason, I've never met him, that guy has played for Philadelphia - it seems like a home run to me.”

“Who knows? He has retired, he might just want to relax and chill out. Or - he'd like to come to Philadelphia.”

When asked whether he would like to train Jason, Miz replied, “Hell yeah! Into a superstar! As big as he is in the NFL, we'll make him as big of a superstar in the WWE!”

Fans excited at prospect of seeing Jason Kelce in WWE ring

People online welcomed the idea to see their beloved football star Jason Kelce trying his hands at WWE.

A user said, "Jason would definitely be a natural, but the last thing he needs is being away from his family and taxing his body further."

"He's got the personality and obviously the athletic abilities," commented one.

"It’d be more fun if he went in without any training other than safety as we all know it’s scripted to an extent," said another.
