Dakota Johnson expresses disbelief over shortened screen time in 'The Office' Finale guest role
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dakota Johnson revealed his time back as a guest role in ‘The Office Finale.’
Talking with Seth Meyers on his ‘Late Night’ show, the actress appeared as a new accountant named Dakota on the series.
Dakota was gravely disappointed
The excited actress suddenly realized it wasn’t as fun as she anticipated, “That was honestly the worst time of my life,” Johnson opened up.
“They were like, ‘Do you want to be in the series finale?’ And I was like, ‘Of course,’ thinking that I’d show up for like half a day. I was there for two weeks. And I’m barely in the f**king show.”
She elaborated on the 2013 season, mentioning, "There were strange dynamics that had persisted for the past decade. Some individuals didn't communicate with each other. As I came in, enthusiastic about being there, nobody wanted to engage with me. Nobody cared... I found myself relegated to the background of scenes, just faxing things."
Will there be a 'The Office' movie soon?
Bryan Cranston recently asked cast members Jenna Fischer (Pam) and Angela Kinsey (Angela) if they would do a movie version of 'The Office.' The ‘Breaking Bad’ actor also directed ‘Work Bus’ episode during season 9.
“Let’s say that there’s not a reboot series, but what if there was a movie?” he asked, reports Variety.
“Something to where we can see where these people are. These people in the entire cast that we’re curious about. We wondered at the end, where did they go? What did become of them?”
Fischer said she would sign on to a movie version of 'The Office' as long as Daniels is involved “because [then] I would trust it. You know? As long as Greg is writing it and he’s in charge of it, then I say yes.”
“I would do it for my kids because I think they would think that’s fun,” Kinsey added.
Dakota is venturing into the beloved Marvel Universe with her upcoming film 'Madame Web.' During an appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show,' she discussed her titular character and promoted the movie.
“She is a new character, and this is a new version of a Marvel movie. It's different and grounded and from an entirely female perspective...It's totally stand-alone,” said the actress.
