Courtney Hope remains positive about her car accident

Hope shared that the incident took place right in front of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, famed magician Harry Houdini's estate.

She explained that she was able to calm down following the collision with "just a lot of breathing."

"And honestly, just really trying to take a moment to focus on the blessings that I do have," said Hope.

"Thanking God and my faith for just saying, 'Hey, trials and tribulations happen in life.' It's a part of life, but just as long as I can stay calm in it and trust that in the end, it's all going to make sense, it's all going to be okay," she said.

"And if not, it makes for a good story," she added.

The actress further spoke about how she is still trying to understand the significance of the occurrence.

"It was really weird. I was like, ‘I don't know what to take from this, but I feel like it's something,’"said Hope.

“And I really sat with it for a week and was trying to figure out what does this mean? And a friend of mine was like, ‘Well, you escaped unscathed, like Houdini.’ And I was like, 'That's true, I did,' " she continued.

"[But it felt] like it was this culmination of a moment, of something grander. I don't know. But it definitely felt like something bigger was happening," Hope told People.

Following the collision, Hope shared the news with her fans through her Instagram Story as she wrote at the time, "I'm just so thankful that everyone involved was okay."
