‘The View’ host Ana Navarro opens up about overcoming intimacy challenges during menopause
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent episode of 'The View', Ana Navarro, 52, opened up about the challenges of maintaining a healthy sex life while going through menopause. The co-host, along with her husband Al Cardenas, revealed that they have turned to various medications to keep the passion alive in their marriage.
The discussion arose during a frank conversation about a man who wrote into a newspaper's advice column, expressing that he hadn't been intimate with his wife in a decade. When co-host Whoopi Goldberg suggested that the wife might be going through menopause, Ana emphasized that menopause doesn't necessarily spell the end of intimacy.

Emphasizing the importance of seeking professional help, she added, "And I think that instead of writing into whatever advice column, they need to go see a sex therapist or a marriage counselor!"
Ana remained firm in her stance, asserting, "It ain't gonna get better!" However, Whoopi interjected, correcting her by saying, "No, no it might, but don't count on it!"

Whoopi chimed in, expressing a more skeptical viewpoint, saying, "Sometimes it's just over! Sometimes it's just finished, and if she hasn't initiated anything in ten years, dude, it's time to go!" The conversation delved into the complexities of long-term relationships and the challenges posed by diminishing intimacy.
Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg, who has had three divorces, shared her perspective on the matter. Referring to a man who wrote to The Washington Post advice column about his wife's disinterest in sex, Whoopi highlighted the potential consequences of a lack of intimacy in marriage.
"This guy who's been married for 27 years... His wife told him she no longer has any interest in having sex with him. However, she also said that he cannot cheat either, which would be grounds for divorce," Whoopi explained.
The discussion explored the dynamics of marriage and the potential impact of physical intimacy on the overall relationship.
