LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian may be the latest celebrity to join the Kansas City Chiefs’ illustrious list of WAGs as the SKIMS founder’s latest love interest is looking forward to signing with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

It has been speculated recently that Kardashian’s boyfriend, the Baltimore Ravens star Odell Beckham Jr is looking forward to having a movement in his professional life.

As a free agent, he is eyeing to join the Kansas City-based team to live “closer” to his girlfriend who is a resident of Los Angeles.

The fans are, however, skeptical about the proposed move as Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's very public romance has enthralled the fans since September 2023. The musician and the athlete have been dubbed the current NFL supercouple after Swift attended several games to cheer for her boyfriend.

Thus the proposed move of Odell Jr. has made many fans question whether 'The Kardashian' star is eyeing to steal the limelight of Swift and Kelce, both 34.

Odell Beckham Jr is reportedly planning a ‘future’ with Kim Kardashian

An insider close to the couple who recently went exclusive after first being linked in September 2023, said to Daily Mail that the 31-year-old athlete is considering the move to be “closer” to Kim Kardashian.

The source added that though marriage is not on the cards right now, the Baltimore Ravens star is hoping to have a “future” with the mother-of-four.

“Odell is a free agent and is looking to sign with a team that will get him closer to LA to be closer to Kim,” shared the insider with the news outlet.

They continued, “He loved his time with Baltimore and may sign with them again, but he has many more options and he is now going to use his personal life as a means of supporting his professional life.”

The source explained that Odell would choose a team that would help him to stay near the reality TV star. They emphasized that now that the couple is exclusive, they would want each other to shine in their professional arena while keeping the avenues open to hang out often.

They said, “Kim and Odell are firing on all cylinders and it is very simple right now between them because she can still do her thing, be a mom and he can do his thing.”

The insider, however, cautioned, “There is no wedding bells to consider, it is just fun and physical right now,” before adding, “He would love to be closer to Kim as he sees a future with her.”

“Odell might sign with the Chiefs, and we all know what that would mean,” dished the insider.

Referring to Kardashian’s eight-year-old feud with Taylor Swift, the insider added, “Kim and Taylor in the same building – talk about fireworks.”

Robert Griffin III suggested the Chiefs should sign Odell Beckham Jr

The news of Odell’s looking out for a new team comes just a few days after the former NFL star Robert Griffin III suggested the Chiefs should sign Odell to solve their issues with drops.

Taking to his X account, Griffin suggested, “The @chiefs SHOULD SIGN Odell Beckham Jr,” before adding, “Last year he proved he is STILL DYNAMIC after being 8th in the NFL averaging 16.1 yards per catch.”

Insinuating that Odell’s signing into the Chiefs may address one major issue the Super Bowl champion faced in the last season, Griffin added, “The @Chiefs struggled with drops last year, but @obj had the lowest drop rate of his career with 1 drop on 64 targets (1.6%). Chief him.”

Nevertheless, Odell’s addition may also mean Kardashian and Taylor Swift are present at the same stadium at the same time to cheer for their respective partners.

Tension between Swift and Kardashian reached its peak in 2016 after the business magnate’s ex-husband Kanye West released his song ‘Famous’ with vulgar reference to Swift.

After the 14-times Grammy-winning songstress called out the Yeezy founder, Kardashian defended her then-husband by releasing a phone call recording of a conversation between West and Swift.

The ‘Lover’ singer later retorted saying though West discussed the lyrics, he failed to mention the vulgar reference he was including in the song.

Internet voices their opinion against Odell Beckham Jr's transfer

The netizens reacted in unison and voiced against Odell Beckham Jr's probable move to the Kansas City Chiefs.

One of the fans said, "If ur gonna “move to be close to ur GF” KC doesn’t make sense for him."

"They can’t be Travis and Taylor because Kim Kardashian doesn’t have any perceptible talent," said someone else.

Another fan declared, "No one cares about them, so…no. They ain’t the new Taylor & Travis."

Another netizen proposed the idea of Odell going back to the LA Rams, and said, "Why doesn't he just go back to the Rams? Then, he'd be really close to his new gf. We don't want/need him here. At least I don't. (I did want him in KC before he chose the money 💰 w/ the Ravens too.)"

"Y'all reachin. No WAY they have the class nor public support as Travis and Taylor," declared another social media user.

Someone else quizzed comically, "Since when did she live in Kansas ?"

A Swiftie wrote, "What is Odell going to watch Kim do the way Travis goes to sold out stadiums of nearly 100,000 people to watch Taylor perform 18 years of her hit music?"

"They’re not even the least bit likeable! And nobody wants that Diva on the Chiefs," said another exasperated fan.
