The endorsement comes as Spacey faces new allegations of sexual misconduct from several men in the forthcoming documentary "Spacey Unmasked," scheduled for release on Tuesday.

What did Kevin Spacey say about RFK Jr’s presidential candidacy?

The 64-year-old actor posted on X, “There’s a lot I can learn from this man. When the world turned its back on me, Bobby leaned in.”

“He’s a formidable fighter for justice and a loyal friend that’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes,” Spacey wrote.

Robert F Kennedy Jr subsequently shared Kevin Spacey's endorsement after the latter reposted a video, created by the Kennedy campaign, in which the candidate read out critical and mocking headlines about himself.

The British documentary 'Spacey Unmasked' will be presented in two parts, showcasing the testimonies of ten men, with nine of them disclosing their stories for the first time in public.

None of these men were related to the trial that took place last summer in a British court, in which the Academy Award-winning actor was found not guilty.

The ten individuals have reported incidents spanning decades, alleging interactions that purportedly occurred in New York, London, and Los Angeles.

Several of these incidents were reported to have taken place at parties and on the set of "House of Cards," the Netflix series that further elevated Spacey's fame within the political realm.

Spacey has categorically denied all the allegations brought against him.

In a recent interview with former British journalist Dan Wootton, the embattled Hollywood actor asserted, “I’ve got nothing left to hide. I take full responsibility for my past behavior and my actions, but I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologize to anyone who’s made up stuff about me or exaggerated stories about me.”

In addition to his victorious legal dispute in London last year, Kevin Spacey was acquitted of assault and battery charges in a case from Nantucket, Massachusetts. Furthermore, he emerged successful in a $40 million sexual misconduct lawsuit back in 2022.

Spacey publicly rebuked Channel 4 in the UK for their upcoming documentary, claiming he was not afforded sufficient time to refute the accusations leveled against him.

Spacey wrote on X, “I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network’s one-sided ‘documentary’ about me in their desperate attempt for ratings. There’s a proper channel to handle allegations against me and it’s not Channel 4.”

“Each time I have been given the time and a proper forum to defend myself, the allegations have failed under scrutiny and I have been exonerated,” he argued.

While denying any unlawful activities, Spacey has acknowledged having consensual relationships and flirting with younger men.

During his interview with Wootton, Spacey remarked, “That may not have been the best decision and it’s not one that I would do today. But it happened. It wasn’t illegal, and nor has it ever been alleged to have been illegal.”

Kevin Spacey lost out on several acting opportunities and was removed from the last season of ‘House of Cards’ following the public revelation of the sexual allegations against him in 2017.
