'Money can’t buy class': JFK's grandson Jack Schlossberg slammed for mocking RFK Jr's campaign
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of President John F Kennedy, has once again stepped into the limelight to criticize his cousin Robert F Kennedy Jr's presidential campaign.
This time, Schlossberg took to Instagram, adopting a comedic persona to voice his disapproval.
Jack Schlossberg mocks RFK Jr
In a video posted to his Instagram account, Schlossberg, donning the guise of an older Bostonian named Jimmy, begins by reminiscing about the legacy of his family, including the tragic loss of JFK.
"A lot of people talking about Robert F Kennedy Jr," he says, adopting a fake accent. "You know, I'm a fan of his father and you know, his uncle—rest in peace. I remember the day where I was the day he was killed. I mean, it was a tragic day. The entire country wept."
However, he quickly shifts gears to lambast RFK Jr, branding him as a "prick" and accusing him of deceitfully aligning with Trump's camp despite claiming independence.
"But listen, that guy, he's a prick, the new guy, the young guy, he's a freaking prick. He's lying to you, alright? 'Independent,' 'third party,' yeah freakin' right. He's got Trump's donors. He's got Trump's advisers, him and Trump go away freaking back. Don't be fooled by that. Don't throw away your vote," Schlossberg insists.
Schlossberg urges viewers to instead support President Joe Biden, extolling the apparent virtues of his leadership and the economy.
"Vote for Biden. It'll feel good. It's gonna be fun! We're gonna keep growing. This economy is gonna keep freakin' booming. We're gonna boom, everybody's gonna get freaking loaded," he adds.

According to Town & Country magazine, this isn't the first time Schlossberg has publicly criticized his cousin's presidential aspirations. In a previous Instagram video, he labeled RFK Jr's candidacy as an "embarrassment" and a "vanity project." He added, "I've listened to him. I know him. I have no idea why anyone thinks he should be president."

Schlossberg's outspokenness echoes sentiments shared by other members of the Kennedy clan. Kerry Kennedy, RFK Jr's sister, endorsed Biden at a campaign event, declaring, "The Kennedy family endorses Joe Biden for president."
Rory Kennedy, another sibling, denounced RFK Jr's candidacy last fall, warning of its potential dangers to the country and disavowing his values and judgment.
"The decision of our brother Bobby to run as a third-party candidate against Joe Biden is dangerous to our country," she wrote in a post last fall. "Bobby might share the same name as our father, but he does not share the same values, vision, or judgment." She added, "We denounce his candidacy and believe it to be perilous for our country."

Who is Jack Schlossberg?
Jack Schlossberg's lineage is deeply entwined with American political history, being the sole grandson of JFK and Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Born on January 19, 1993, to Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, he was named John Bouvier "Jack" Kennedy Schlossberg.
A graduate of Yale University, he furthered his studies at Harvard Law and Business School, earning both an MBA. and JD. He joined the bar in 2023, following in the footsteps of his family members who have built a reputation for their commitment to environmental and political causes.
During his first TV appearance in 2017 alongside his mother on the 'Today' show, Schlossberg said his family's history was a motivating factor for him. “I’m inspired by my family’s legacy of public service. It’s something that I’m very proud of. But I’m still trying to make my own way and figure things out," he said. "So stay tuned — I don’t know what I’m going to do.”

But despite his lineage, Schlossberg is keen on carving out his identity separate from his grandfather's legacy. Speaking to People that same year, he discussed being compared to his grandfather.
Schlossberg said at the time that he was “trying to be my own person and do my own thing.” He added, “We live in a really different time than he did, and I’m trying to figure out what I’m really interested in and what I want to do.”
Social media backlash
However, Schlossberg's recent criticism of RFK Jr.'s campaign has sparked quite a backlash on social media, with some questioning his tact and loyalty to his family.
"Money can’t buy class," one posted on X.
"Why are you attacking your mother's first cousin?" another asked.
"How cool do you have to be to mock someone for a health condition," someone else chimed in.
"With 'family' like that, who needs enemies?" another wondered.
"The Kennedy clan is worried RFK will be a spoiler and hurt Biden’s chances. What are they afraid of? What secrets do they fear Trump will let out if he wins? It’s disgraceful to speak of your own family this way," a comment read.
