LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Simple Life’ alums Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are teaming up once again for a new reality TV show, nearly 17 years after the conclusion of their hit series.

The news came on Wednesday, May 8 after both Hilton and Richie hinted their reunion in similar Instagram posts that featured a collage of moments from their friendship through the decades.

"From Day 1: Sill and Bill👭,” they both captioned the nostalgic posts, using their 'Simple Life' nicknames for each other.

While it is unclear what the concept of series will be, however according to TMZ, the new project will differ from their show from the early 2000s.

According to reports, the two socialites have been working on the yet to be named series for months, bouncing around concepts until they settle on one.

The rights to shoot the new series were apparently secured by James Corden's production firm, Fulwell 73, though it is unclear whether any network has picked it up.

From 2003 to 2007, the television series 'The Simple Life' followed Hilton and Richie as they tried to find menial, low-paying employment outside of their home. Even though the program was only broadcast for five seasons, it is nevertheless regarded as a classic work of pop culture today.
