'They're my best friends': Olivia Wilde opens up on her two children, says they're giant teenagers'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Olivia Wilde has opened up on her two children after the actress attended the opening night of 'Kate', a one-woman show written and performed by Kate Berlant, in California on Sunday, January 21. “They're so great. They're huge and they're so healthy and happy,” Wilde said of her family, according to People.

“I already feel like they're giant teenagers, but we're having a lot of fun. They're my best friends,” she added.

Olivia Wilde revealed her go-to activities with her children

The 39-year-old went on to reveal her go-to activities with son Otis Alexander, nine, and daughter, Daisy Josephine, seven, whom she shares with ex-husband  Jason Sudeikis. “We have so much fun. They're so active. They're musicians and they're athletes and they're just cool,” she said, adding “They both play drums and they sing and we just have a great time. We're a big karaoke family.”

Olivia Wilde revealed her song preferences

The 'Don't Worry Darling' star who looked chic in a high-necked black maxi-dress revealed her song choices, saying "My go-to changes. It changes a lot. Right now we have a lot of Taylor Swift happening in our house."

"It's wall-to-wall Taylor and Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish,” Wilde told the outlet, adding “And now Daisy has brought in Dua Lipa, but we're like Taylor first.”

In October, it was disclosed that former couple Wilde and Sudeikis are in a "good place" since calling off their engagement in 2020. "If there's any resentment over where to live or child custody payments, they certainly don't show it," a source told the outlet. 

Of their custody case which was settled in September last year, the source added, "It's a united front. And they are clearly both deeply devoted parents."

The actress also celebrated Otis on National Sons Day. The director shared a sweet photo to her Instagram of her nine-year-old to mark the holiday. The snap showed her son sipping on two juice boxes and wearing sunglasses as he posed for his mom. "I don't know a cooler guy," Wilde wrote across the image at the time. 

Jason Sudeikis snuggles up with much younger Elsie Hewitt after split from Olivia Wilde

Meaww previously reported that Jason Sudeikis, 48, was recently spotted getting cozy with his apparent new lady love, Elsie Hewitt. The two were seen out Thursday night. January 11, as they shared a hug outside the Bird Streets Club, Daily Mail reported.

The two have not officially confirmed their relationship despite reportedly being dating since the summer of 2023. The 27-year-old actress donned a sheer black lace blouse, a black lace bra, and a matching leather jacket for the outing. She also chose a pair of black leather pants and the same color platform combat boots to complete her look.

On the other hand, Hewitt’s apparent beau went for a casual look in a Travis Scott x Jordan varsity jacket. The ‘Ted Lasso’ star completed his look with a black WNBA hoodie, a pair of light blue jeans, and a black Portlandia baseball cap.
