"Now here's Taylor Swift, who is a glowing bright light of goodness in the world, and she starts dating Kelsey Grammer," commented Letterman, 76, playfully blending Kelsey with Kelce, as reported by People.
Barbara Gaines, the producer, quickly corrects him with, “No, that’s not true.”
“People go crazy [about seeing Swift],” Letterman continued. “The [Kelce] people say, ‘No, no, don’t bother us. We’re all caught up in football. We don’t want Taylor in football.’”

Letterman 'shuts up' Taylor Swift haters
He summed up the video shared over social media with remarks, “This is such a lovely thing. Shut up!”
“It’s good for the footballers. It’s good for Taylor Swift. And it’s something positive and happy for the world. ... God bless, Taylor Swift and Kelsey Grammer,” he said.
Swift also addressed the fact that some NFL fans were displeased with her presence, feeling that she was diverting attention away from the game.
“There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once,” she said.
“I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads,” she added.

Will Taylor cheer for her boyfriend during the Super Bowl game?
She made appearances at 12 Chiefs games after their romance became public in September 2023. Throughout those games, the team secured victories in nine instances and experienced only three losses.
There is no confirmation on whether Swift will attend the Super Bowl on February 11 in Las Vegas to witness the Chiefs facing off against the San Francisco 49ers.
The NFL tight end electrified the crowd by flashing the pop star's iconic heart sign after catching a wide-open pass, momentarily propelling his team into the lead during the second quarter with a touchdown in the Bills game.
