Kathy Griffin files divorce from Randy Bick days before 4th anniversary, wants court to enforce prenup
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Comedian Kathy Griffin has decided to end her marriage with Randy Bick, a marketing executive, after nearly four years of being together.
The couple had a surprise wedding on New Year’s Day in 2020, but now they are heading for a split.
Kathy Griffin cites irreconcilable differences, asks for prenup enforcement
According to TMZ, Kathy filed for divorce in Los Angeles County on Thursday, December 28, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup.
She also stated that she and Randy had signed a prenuptial agreement on December 23, 2019, about 10 days before their wedding, and requested the court to uphold it.
People magazine confirmed that the prenup document was filed along with the divorce papers.

Kathy Griffin did not hide her emotions from her fans and followers as she took to the X shortly after the news of her divorce broke.
She wrote, "Well…sh*t. This sucks.’"Many of her fans expressed their sympathy and support for her, with messages such as "I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you lots of love."

Kathy Griffin and Randy Bick had a long relationship before their wedding
Kathy and Randy had a long history before they tied the knot in a ceremony officiated by Lily Tomlin on New Year’s Day in 2020.
They started dating in 2011, but broke up briefly in 2018. They reconciled the next year and decided to get married. They did not have any children together, which means there are no issues of child support in their divorce.
The publication also reported that there was no need for spousal support, as per the document filed by Kathy. This will be Kathy’s second divorce, as she was previously married to Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006.
Kathy Griffin plans to return to standup comedy with a new show in 2024
Despite the personal setback, Kathy Griffin is not giving up on her career as a standup comedian. She had announced that she will be back on the road in 2024 with a new show titled 'My Life on the PTSD-List.'
The show is a reference to her controversial photo shoot in 2017 where she posed with a fake severed head of former President Donald Trump which led to a backlash and a federal investigation.
Kathy has since apologized for the stunt, but also claimed that it affected her mental health and career. She hopes to make a comeback with her new show which will feature her trademark humor and wit.
