LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: TikTok star David Allen, who goes by the handle ToTouchAnEmu, is mourning the death of his infant daughter, Lily Grace Allen, who died just five weeks after her birth.

Lily Grace was born on June 21 to David and his wife Jessica and died on July 27 while she was sleeping. David has not yet revealed the cause of her death.

During Lily Grace's birth, David made a lighthearted comment about planning to create content featuring his daughter in the future.

A few weeks before her death, David shared a brief update with his followers by posting a video of Lily Grace watching “Technology Connections” on YouTube, rather than the popular parenting show "Ms Rachel."

David Allen discusses death of his newborn daughter Lily Grace Allen

The influencer, David Allen began his Instagram post by reflecting on how his initial TikTok video opened up many exciting opportunities for him.

However, he then revealed the heartbreaking news of his daughter’s death. "But the coolest thing I ever did was welcome my baby, Lily, into this world with my wife, Jessica," he said. 

“She was five weeks old about a week ago when she passed away at midnight. I have cried every tear I can possibly cry. I think it's not easy,” Allen admitted. “I don't wish this on anybody. I don't even really know what to say.” 

He mentioned that he had taken a week before talking about it because he didn’t know how to express his feelings. “I don't really know what else to say. I just want to get it out there” he continued. “Just go hug your little one, squeeze them tight for me.”

Allen told his followers that those wishing to support his family can make donations to Children's Medical Center Dallas in Lily Grace Allen’s name.

“If you want to send something to me or my wife or our family, I have an address on my page,” Allen said, before giving details about the memorial service. Although the service is by invitation only, he encouraged his followers to send flowers or cards. 

The memorial for Lily Grace Allen will take place on August 6 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Home in Colleyville, Texas, as per People.

After David Allen posted the video on Instagram, his millions of followers swiftly extended their condolences. The video quickly gained attention, amassing over 28,000 likes and a flood of comments in the section.

One user wrote, "As a parent who has gone through it I’m so so sorry for your loss, she’s always with you and so are we 💔❤️."

Another user added, "I’m so very sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the pain you are in. It’s heartbreaking. Sending so much love your way, and your wife’s way," while the other added, "Omg, my heart is just shattered for you both. Sending you both as much healing energy and love as possible."
