Tim Dillon slams dog masks at Mar-a-Lago party: ‘It’s literally the end of the world’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Comedian and podcaster Tim Dillon tore into a bizarre charity gala held at Mar-a-Lago, mocking the event’s costumed attendees and questioning its timing as the world grapples with multiple crises.
On Saturday’s episode of 'The Tim Dillon Show', Dillon reacted to footage from the American Humane Society’s 15th Annual Hero Dog Awards Gala, which took place at President Donald Trump’s Florida estate on January 9 and looked visibly shocked.
Tim Dillon slams ‘absolutely psychotic’ timing
Videos from the event, showing guests in ornate period outfits and dog masks dancing inside Mar-a-Lago, quickly circulated online, drawing widespread confusion and ridicule.
Dillon appeared stunned by what he saw, repeatedly emphasizing how disconnected the spectacle felt from reality.
“In the midst of all of this, someone decided that it would be a good idea to do this,” Dillon said, before cutting to clips from the gala.

He described the scene as “1000% psychotic,” adding that he could not understand how such an event could be justified given the current state of the world.
The comedian, who frequently criticizes Democrats, has also grown increasingly critical of the Trump administration in recent weeks, particularly over ICE’s mass deportations and lingering questions surrounding the Epstein files.
Dillon cited global and domestic unrest- including Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, reports that Iran is killing thousands of anti-government protesters and unrest in Minneapolis following the fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent as reasons the event struck him as deeply inappropriate.
“It’s literally the end of the world,” Dillon declared, using the phrase to underscore how detached the party felt from unfolding events.
Dillon's reaction comes after it had already become fodder for online commentary and ridicule.
No patience for charity defense
The Hero Dog Awards Gala is intended to honor rescued and service dogs that have performed extraordinary acts, a mission the American Humane Society promotes as celebratory and uplifting.

Didn’t a furry kill their friend, by the way? Does anyone look at the optics of this?”@TimJDillon 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/jkCaYmcOrx
Dillon, however, dismissed the charitable framing entirely.
“I don’t give a f**k what the charity was,” he said.
“Who gives a f**k?! Stop with the charities. They’re all fake,” Dillon added, accusing attendees of using the event as cover for excess.
He went on to describe the gala as “an excuse to wear dog masks and get drunk and God only knows what else.”
