'You can't buy your way to them'

Timothee and Jimmy continued discussing the concept of "golden tickets" in the context of sneakers, emphasizing that "You can't buy your way to them. You got to win them from a contest. You know, you got to submit a creative".

Timothee shared his experience of going to Oregon, specifically Beaverton, which is the Nike campus, to be involved in the design process.

The Wonka Dunks, designed by Timothee Chalamet himself at the Nike campus in Oregon, are a playful and whimsical creation as per GQ.

Inspired by his longstanding love for sneakers and his wardrobe in the new film, the sneakers feature a burgundy tongue and laces reminiscent of the chocolatier's signature jacket.

Pastel-colored smears across the body give the appearance of hand-drawn pencil crayon markings. Additional playful touches include a yellow cursive “W” on the tongue tag and an embroidered cloud and lightning bolt on the heel.

The overall design has been highlighted as outstanding, with Timothee having already showcased the sneakers in casual outfits while out and about.
