'Today' host Al Roker’s daughter Leila Roker follows in father’s footsteps to launch an exciting cross-cultural entertainment venture

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'Today' star Al Roker’s daughter, Leila Roker, has followed in her father’s footsteps into the entertainment world and launched her new podcast, 'Cross Culture'. 

The 24-year-old recently took to Instagram to announce the big news and also shared a brief clip about the podcast.

Leila has now made a dedicated Instagram page for her 'Cross Culture' podcast.

In a new video featuring Leila and her co-host Lauren Williams, the former exuded a striking resemblance to her stylish mother, Deborah Roberts, sporting chic glasses.

The duo revealed the essence of the podcast, as Leila declared, "Welcome to Cross Culture podcast. Where we dive into pop culture, Black culture, fashion, literature, media, and everything in between."

Then, she asked, "You're probably thinking, does the world need another podcast? The answer is probably not but trust us. You'll want to listen to this one."

Accompanying the announcement was a sleek logo for the podcast, adding an extra touch of flair to the reveal. The first episode is already available on various platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts, as indicated on its Instagram page. 

Many rushed to congratulate Leila for this beautiful endeavor in the comments section.

Al Roker cherishes his family members

Al married Roberts in 1995, and they share two children, Leila and Nick. The ‘Today’ star also has a 36-year-old daughter, Courtney, from a previous relationship with Alice Bell. 

In July, Al took to his Instagram to announce that Courtney gave birth to his first grandchild.

Al captioned the post, "And then this little girl came into my life. Welcome to the world, Sky Clara Laga. In love all over again. Thank you, Courtney and Wes for such a perfect blessing. You baby is beautiful. Already planning the ways to spoil her and then hand her back."

Other than that, the proud grandfather has shared glimpses of taking care of his grandchild and seldom fails to keep his followers updated about his family.
