'It’s ridiculous': Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager trolled over backstage Christmas performance

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: NBC’s morning talk show ‘Today’ host Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager recently got roasted by their fans after the pair danced to their Christmas song backstage.

‘Today’ fans brutally mocked their dance skills after their performance on the song ‘A Carefree Christmas’.

The hosts were also called out for poor lip-syncing during their holiday segment. This came following Kotb and Hager’s new holiday song release.

They not only shared the title but also the cover art for their joint project, ‘A Carefree Christmas.’

The cover featured both hosts dressed in matching white sweaters, red scarves, and Santa hats.

Vocal coach Cheryl Porter collaborated with Kotb and Hager, providing guidance for the song and also joining them on the track.

On Wednesday, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager brought festive cheer to ‘Today’ dressed in coordinated outfits.

The hosts donned matching black sequin jumpsuits paired with black blazers adorned with feathers on the sleeves.

During the performance of their song, ‘Carefree Christmas,’ alongside Cheryl Porter and a choir, Kotb and Hager showcased their singing and dancing skills.

Their routine included swaying side to side, kicking, moving their arms, and expressing their joy through dance.

While some of the other ‘Today’ hosts praised the performance, describing it as "better than Cats" and expressing a desire for more, opinions among fans at home were mixed, with some not finding the performance up to par.

One fan slammed Hager adding, “I love Jenna but…. She has zero rhythm.”
