LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On the first anniversary of Lisa Marie Presley's death, her mother Priscilla Presley, and her eldest daughter Riley Keough have paid tribute to the late singer-songwriter.

In remembrance of her mother, who died at the age of 54, Riley, 34, shared a touching old photo of the two on Instagram on Friday, January 12.

Mother Priscilla Presley also paid tribute to her memories on X (formerly Twitter) by expressing "comfort" at the idea of Lisa Marie being reunited with her father, Elvis Presley.

Riley had declared a day earlier that her mother's memoir would be published posthumously on October 15, 2024. (Lisa Marie was working on her memoir when she passed away.)

She posted a vintage picture of herself and Lisa Marie on Instagram on Thursday, January 11, writing: "I’m honored to help put my mother’s book out for her. Her autobiography will be out in October with @randomhouse and you can pre order it now."

The 'Daisy Jones & The Six star' and Lisa Marie were seated next to each other in the cute photo shared, smiling.

In the family portrait, Riley looked straight into the camera as an elementary school student wearing overalls and her hair pulled back in a side ponytail. Her late mother, sporting a hat reminiscent of the 1990s, seemed content as she looked down.

The Golden Globes-nominated actress solely added a heart emoticon in the caption.

"Today is a very solemn day," the 78-year-old matriarch said at the outset. "It’s been a year since your passing and not a day goes by where I don’t think about and miss you."

"Rest in peace, Lisa," she added. "You are in the arms of your beloved father now. Only that… gives me comfort."

Lisa Marie Presley, the sole child of Priscilla and her late ex-husband, rock 'n' roll king Elvis Presley, died on January 12, 2023, after being admitted to the hospital due to cardiac arrest.

It was eventually discovered that Lisa Marie had died from small bowel obstruction sequelae, or an obstruction in the small intestine that resulted from a complication from the bariatric surgery she had undergone some years before, per PEOPLE.

Lisa Marie leaves behind Priscilla, her 34-year-old daughter Riley, whom she had with her ex-husband Danny Keough, and her 15-year-old twin children Finley and Harper, whom she had with her former spouse Michael Lockwood.

Riley has honored her late mother — who also raised Riley's brother Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in 2020 at the age of 27 — on multiple occasions after her death.

Internet joined in paying tribute on Lisa Marie's death anniversary

Riley's post received supportive responses from a few close pals. Riley's co-star for 'Zola' and friend Taylour Paige wrote, "Beauties ❤️," in response, while her stylist Jamie Mizrahi wrote, "Love you so much ri ri ❤️."

Another touching remark came from Lisa Marie's father Elvis Presley's former girlfriend and family friend Linda Thompson. She wrote: "Your mother loved you, your brother and your sisters fiercely and devotedly… death does not rob us of that love, nor our memories. I have the best recollections of your beautiful mother from the time she was 4 1/2."

"She was extraordinarily special, but you already know that. I loved her then, now, and always. My thoughts & my heart are with you…💜🙏🏻" she added.

On her Instagram profile, Thompson honored Lisa Marie Presley with a personal message and an array of old pictures that captured memorable moments she spent with Elvis Presley and his young daughter.

Thompson wrote in the caption: "The photographs are faded, but the memories are indelibly etched into my heart. Lovingly remembering Lisa Marie today and always."
