Tom Brady’s latest on-air gaffe about warfare on eve of Veterans Day leaves viewers stunned
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Tom Brady has left his fans stunned as well as worried after he made an insensitive comment about warfare on the eve of Veterans Day during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, November 10.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner compared football to weaponry while reporting about a tight window that Buccaneers’ quarterback Baker Malkjhgyfield tried to throw a pass-through in the first half, reported Sports Illustrated.
Brady said, “There’s four guys right there, one grenade could have killed them all.”
During the same game, he also asserted, “That’s one of the best plays I’ve ever seen a quarterback make,” while praising Mayfield.

Tom Brady garnered attention after criticizing Bo Melton’s ejection from game
However, this was not the first time that the 47-year-old former football quarterback had said something controversial as a first-time broadcaster after signing a ten-year, $375 million deal with Fox as an announcer.
During the November 3 game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers, Brady expressed his disapproval as Brian Branch was ejected after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Packers’ Bo Melton.
According to Today.com, he said, “I don’t love that call at all. I mean, obviously it’s a penalty, but, to me, that has to be serious intent in a game like this.”

Though his criticism led to multiple speculations, an NFL spokesperson shared, “The concern would be if Tom was egregiously critical of officiating or called into question the integrity of an official or the crew. That did not occur in this instance.”
