Tom Brady's surprising response to Gisele Bundchen and Joaquim Valente's first child revealed

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, have begun a new chapter in their relationship with the official arrival of their first child together.

Since Bundchen's baby news went viral, fans have been curious about her ex-husband Tom Brady's reactions toward his ex-wife's expanding brood.

Brady's response may not have been what some expected, as a source informed Page Six that the NFL veteran is happy for the supermodel and "wishes her nothing but the best."

According to a source close to Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion is "happy for Gisele" and wishes her the best. A second insider added that Brady personally congratulated his ex-wife on the birth of the child.

The gender and name of Bundchen's new baby have not yet been revealed, nor is it known when she welcomed him with jiujitsu instructor Valente.

With her ex-husband Brady, 47, the Brazilian already shares a son, Benjamin Rein, 15, and a daughter, Vivian Lake, 11. The pair announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

Brady and his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan welcomed their son Jack, now 17, into the world soon after their 2006 breakup.

Bundchen considered herself a "bonus" parent to Brady's mini-me, and the two seem to remain close even after the Brazilian beauty and the former quarterback parted ways.

Tom Brady previously 'stung' by Gisele Bundchen's pregnancy news

The New England Patriots legend was reportedly "stunned" to learn of Bundchen's pregnancy in October. Brady has been finding it difficult to date as he recovers from the "sting" of Bundchen's new relationship, a source previously told Daily Mail.

"Finding out Gisele was pregnant stung. Tom had to get out his feelings about it and he did it in his own time," the insider said at the time.

The source clarified that although Brady kept his cards close to the vest, others around him could tell how he felt.

"There's not a lot of people who see the Tom behind closed doors, but those that do could see he was upset," the source said.

"It was a hard pill to swallow. It was never something he ever thought was going to happen," they added.

The source further added, "But she is still the mother of two of his children, so he wants her to be OK. He has to move on and with her pregnant, she has definitely moved on, so he can't be upset about it anymore."

"It is out of his control, out of his hands. He is not letting it get to him anymore."

Brady did not officially comment on the news, but hours after it was announced, he shared a nostalgic social media message that referenced Fleetwood Mac's 1975 song 'Landslide.'

He wrote, "Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?" next to a picture of the sun setting.

According to Page Six, Bündchen dated her 37-year-old jiu-jitsu trainer Valente in June 2023 after her and Brady's divorce was finalized.

Following their Valentine's Day photo shoot in Miami, it was announced in February 2024 that the couple was "deeply in love."

Although Bündchen denied having a connection with the MMA athlete before she and Brady split up, they have been training together since 2021.

"That's a lie," she told the New York Times in March 2024, referring to the allegations of an affair. Bundchen went on to say, "No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship."

The pair decided to take their relationship to the next level when word leaked out in October 2024 that the couple was having a child together.
